Last weekend we celebrated Corey's uncles 50th birthday, and his Aunt and Uncles 25th anniversary! Of course i did the cakes, my signature chocolate fudge cake. Dense, rich chocolate cake with chocolate sundae fudge in between with a sprinkle of toffee bits. It was covered with vanilla butter cream and topped with yellow fondant and we added black and yellow starts ( Boston Bruins team colors, his favorite). When we got to the party i added 8 sparklers in between the stars and it looked great when it was lit!
The other cake which i didn't really get a picture of was skor bar cake (Chocolate fudge cake with skor bits and whipped cream). I found some amazing orange and yellow Gerber daisy's to add to the top and sides of the square cake.What a great day, it was beautiful out and we got to visit with Corey's family that we haven't seen for a while.
